Upper Lip Lift

In some patients, the upper lift becomes longer with age and the patient loses some of the upper lip, resulting in a thinner lip look. This can easily be fixed by an ingenious little operation. It consists of removing a short segment of skin from under the nose and right against it. The upper lip is thus shortened. The resulting scar is minimal and quite acceptable. The operation can be performed in the office. The vermilion or red part of the upper lip looks fuller and the patient looks more youthful.
